Job Description

This role is largely based in our Photo Studio, photographing mainly family and professional portraitures. We are looking for an outgoing, passionate and results-driven individual to join our dynamic team, you are passionate about engaging and bringing joy to families and immortalising glowing moments, you create a lasting impression for every individual and family that walk through the studio’s door.

Working closely with the creative director and the studio manager, you will be a part of a dynamic team that constantly seeks to empower each other and improve both knowledge and skillset.

Your Primary Task Includes:

• Being Outgoing, Outspoken and … Outer space.
• Communicate effectively and provide an outstanding customer service experience that leaves customers dreaming and smiling after they had a photography session with you.
• Having great patience and empathy towards children and families, creates a fun experience.
• Engage with customers and create not only good but great photographic work.
• To provide guidance and advice to customers with regards to poses and achieve amazing photographic results.
• Editing the Photographs captured and meeting deadlines.
• General housekeeping of the studio.
• Maintain and care for the props and equipment for the photoshoots.
• Working independently and closely with your team members
• Be attentive and diligent in the storage and editing of various assignments, projects and images, and good discipline in file management tasks
• Being open to learning new skills, software, equipment and other basic administrative tasks such as invoicing.

Requirements:

• Professional Certificate/Ni-Tech, Diploma in Visual Communication or any field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, the experience can be freelancing.
• Minimum 1 year of Customer service experience is a must! (Can be from part-time jobs or other previous jobs)
• Patience and joy working with children and families.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Having your own workstation is a plus. (We have a studio computer for you, we also allow WFH on days that the studio is closed for customers, you do not have to come to the studio on those days, you will still need to process the photos)
• Familiar with Canon Equipment is also a plus.
• Able to provide suggestions and take feedback constructively.
• Proficient in using digital resources such as YouTube independently to learn specific functions and Pinterest to get ideas.
• Understanding how to shoot effectively using DSLR/Mirrorless Camera, flashes and possess the necessary technical knowledge for the camera system, lenses, photography, and digital imaging.
• Prepared to work irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good command of Spoken and Written English.

Working Hours:

• Up to 6 Days Work Week
• Main Studio Photoshoot days from Wednesdays to Sundays
• Mondays and Tuesdays are off days with the occasional special arrangement for the customer that can only attend Monday/Tuesdays.
• Able to work on weekends including public holidays when rostered.

Dress Code:

• Casual and Comfortable. (e.g T-shirts, jeans/jackets)
• Shorts are also applicable for days without customers.

Salary and Benefits:

• S$2000 – $2500 / Month with CPF
• Realistic and attainable commissions.
