Role Responsibilities
This role includes some or all of the following key responsibilities:
· Experience with assessing risk and initiate action to mitigate risk at all phases of subcontract formation, performance and close-out
· Experience with preparing RFPs tailored to specific requirements; evaluating subcontractor proposals, developing negotiation strategy in concert with Program Managers, and leading negotiations; preparing CPSR compliant subcontract documentation to include in-depth cost/price analyses
· Experience with monitoring subcontractor performance and initiate corrective action if performance falters; executing contract modifications in response to changing requirements; and performing close-out activities
· Experience with providing advice and support to Program Managers and Cost Estimators in developing proposals, including developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
· Experience with providing advice and support in developing Statements of Work (SOW); sourcing selection criteria and performing source selections
· Experience with providing guidance on financial and contractual matters pertaining to contracts
· Independently conceive of and lead special projects and process improvement activities with organization-wide impact
· Report to Subcontracts Manager
· Primarily responsible for collecting, documenting, and assembling documentation for subcontract/task order awards and modifications, under guidance with complex and critical concerns
· Experience with maintaining SharePoint sites
· Experience with interacting with PMO, Managing Directors, Legal, Compliance, and other Subcontracts personnel as needed
· Attend meetings and training as needed
· Experience with supporting day to day subcontract administration including responding to data calls and maintaining data to ensure accurate metrics and work flow
· Apply knowledge of contracting types, such as T&M, FFP, and CPFF
· Apply knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Public Law requirements to subcontract terms
· Schedule and lead meetings with PMO, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination of subcontractor actions
· Act as program functional lead in the area of subcontract management
Required Skills – Experience in the following required:
· 3+ years Subcontracting experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
· Detailed oriented, organized, flexible
· Able to set priorities and de-conflict multiple demands
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Able to apply sound business judgment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype
Preferred Skills
· More than 4 years in the Federal market space in the areas of subcontracting, contracting, finance, pricing, or a related field
· Ability to multi-task
· Finance and/or analytical experience
· Experience working in a DCMA approved purchasing system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
