Job Purpose:
The Summer Analyst position is open to rising undergraduate seniors from any field of study. The position will be located in one of four Invesco Real Estate Office: Dallas, New York City, Newport Beach and San Francisco. Over the summer, the analyst can expect exposure and experience across all product types in equity, credit, investment and portfolio management. The assignment will last 10 weeks, beginning in June and continuing through mid-August.

What an analyst can expect:

  • An introduction to Invesco Real Estate, its employees, history, philosophy, and all aspects of its business divisions by working alongside experienced professionals in their respective specialties

  • Summer programming inclusive of lunch and learns, one-on-one conversations with IRE professionals, asset site visits and a summer case study project

  • Opportunity to join the Summer 2024 two-year full time analyst program


Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping associates within transactions and investment management with financial modeling (ARGUS and excel models), investment analysis, and portfolio monitoring

  • Completing tasks and projects that aid the groups in carrying out day-to-day and longer-term dealings

  • Assist in transaction and business execution and the due diligence process for various product types

  • Working on presentations, memoranda, research, and new business opportunities


Qualifications:

  • Class of May 2024 graduates with strong academic record

  • Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated interest in finance, economics, and capital markets

  • Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills; entrepreneurial and creative mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
