General Description
Norwich Human Services is hiring a Data Management Assistant for its Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). This position is grant-funded by EASTCONN and EWIB; hours may be subject to change based on available funding. This job does not require travel.
Work Period: April 17th - August 11, 2023 (20-29 hours per week) Duties & Responsibilities
Manage SYEP"s database system and consistently update intern information.
Collaborate with Program Coordinator and Program Assistants to complete case files and other duties as required.
Work alongside Program Coordinator and Program Assistants to communicate to SYEP applicants via email, mail, in person, or over the phone.
Demonstrate to youth participants how to conduct themselves in a work environment.
Qualifications
Associate degree; or two (2) years of college-level course work in computer science, computer engineering, human services, education; or related field plus one (1) year of experience managing data and the ability to use database software and Microsoft Excel are vital. Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data. An equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will also be considered. Bi-lingual skills a strong plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
