Positions Summary:
ABSC is seeking a System Administrator with a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance in support of the NGA mission in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Manages IT legacy applications and delivered services and capabilities. Configures and manages Unix Operating Systems. Provides systems and account administration consistent with requirements to support remote system service.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Installs/loads operating system and application software.
Isolates and resolves hardware and software problems involving the applications, operating system, hardware, communications infrastructure, or any combination of these.
Provides day-to day operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the clients and servers.
Troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Integrates new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
Experience Required for this Role:
Minimum 0-2 years experience.
Able to follow established processes and checklists with minimal supervision.
Able to understand and apply basic and advanced concepts to resolve minor issues as well as assist senior-level technicians, specialists and managers.
Moderate to minimal guidance required.
Over time able to provide guidance and direction to others.
Education Required for this Role:
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Applicable software/hardware training and certifications.
