We are seeking an experienced systems engineer to perform as a certified test conductor (CTC) on the Orion Test Labs team within the Exploration Development Lab Houston (EDLH)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Responsibility over Flight System avionics and ground systems components
- Hands-on software loads, hardware reconfiguration, integration, and troubleshooting activities
- Some 2nd shift and weekend support

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering work experience
- Previous experience executing tests as a Certified Test Conductor or equivalent test experience
- Background in an integrated avionics and software test environment
- Demonstrated experience developing or executing scripts, test procedures, and analyzing test data
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- Proven ability to lead test teams through complex operations, maintaining focus on the objective(s) to affect efficient test completion
- Familiarity with Orion spacecraft architecture and avionics subsystems (e.g., electrical power, command and data handling)
- Electrical Connector (Mate/demate) certification
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures such as Automation Framework SAP/VECAMS experience
