Teacher Assistant/Summer camp help

We are looking for a fun, energetic, professional team player for our preschool and toddler room. The hours are flexible and as needed Monday-Thursday and Friday as needed. Hours are from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Position start date is for our summer camp starting July 10th - August 18th with a possibly of staying for our fall school year. Options to be added as a sub from now till then is also possible.

Candidates must pass required state background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
• CPR certified preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with children; child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• must have some knowledge of OCFS regulations
• Must complete some training before start date

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Syosset, NY 11791: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
