We are play and literacy based and inspired in many ways by Montessori and Reggio. Our school is located in Northbrook, which has been our only location for 33 years. We have large playgrounds and spacious classrooms with all the equipment and materials you would need plus lots of planning time.

You will be working along side our current staff in one of our 11 classrooms. Nielsen is a year round school.

Our children range from 6 weeks old to 6 years old.

Versatile teachers will thrive here as many of our staff have made this home.

Requirements:

30 college credits ( or working on it ) We are looking for seasoned teacher but are happy to work with aspiring teachers who have some college, experience in the field and are working on more credits.

6 credits (2 classes) must be in Early Childhood, we are open to helping you get the 6 credits while working here.and we will pay for the credits,
