The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the supervisor, the primary job function of the Team Coordinator in the ClearGuard Warranty Team is to assist with the monitoring of office work flow of the Claim Handling of ClearGuard Warranty claims presented under the Smart Auction program. Observe trends and volume fluctuation to achieve appropriate staff levels. Responsibilities include, but not limited to certifications and telephone observations and training. Work involves independent judgment with some degree of responsibility. An extensive knowledge of products, policies and procedures is displayed.

The Work Itself

  • Provide employee performance related feedback to supervisors to assist in the preparation of Performance Reviews.
  • Update and maintain employee progress folders.
  • Perform certifications and observations of team members.
  • Investigate and make decisions on complex problem files including balancing, reconciling and reporting of various accounts.
  • Train employees on product information and department procedures to ensure effectiveness.
  • May handle complaints, investigate and resolve problem accounts.

The Skills You Bring

  • 2 + years' experience in automotive repair industry required if candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent degree. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields may be used as a proxy for the years of experience requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Education may be used as a proxy for experience.
  • Knowledge of technical tasks required to support ongoing business operations.
  • Typically requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
