UFA, Inc., a global leader in developing Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and voice recognition technologies, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to become an integral part of our Germantown, MD team. Our Technical Project Manager will support growing business needs by serving as a single point of contact between UFA and our customers. Responsible for the project life cycle, the selected candidate will ensure superior satisfaction of turnkey hardware and software simulation projects to the customer from start to finish, ensure delivery is on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities :
Successful candidate(s) will be using their Project Management expertise and experience to support both internal UFA and external Customer activities. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Determine and define project scope, requirements, and objectives

Manage the project lifecycle from Proposal Development to Project Delivery
-
Serve as the single point of contact between UFA and the customer(s) for Project decisions
-
Collaborate with distributed UFA and Customer project teams, both domestic and international
-
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, including resource needs
-
Report on project progress to key internal and external stakeholders
-
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers and communicate expected deliverables in support of logistics for domestic and international deliveries
-
Measure project performance to identify opportunities of improvement
-
Utilize Project Management tools to allow for industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
Requirements :
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or related field -
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or related experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of technical Project Management experience
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing Agile development methodology
-
Experience with applications such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and online collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira
-
Agile and/or Scrum Certification with Scrum Master experience
-
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
-
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
-
Excellent oral and written communications skills
-
Due to US Government Security requirements regarding Contractors working on Government Programs, successful candidate(s) must be qualified to apply for a Position of Public Trust clearance

Domestic and International travel may be required
Preferred :
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
