Normec OWS has recently opened a new testing facility located in Kettering, Ohio, USA and now seeks one (1) new full-time technical sales associate to support growing business and sales.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist with sales and marketing responsibilities for North American clients
• Provide clients with expert advice on certification and testing procedures using virtual and in-person meetings when practical
• Consult with clients to optimize testing plan which optimizes timing and economics
• Provide quotations specific to client requirements
• Complete administrative functions necessary to protect confidential and proprietary information, receive orders, and facilitate client sample shipments
• Provide routine sales updates on key clients and market information (regulations, key developments) to Management
• Participate and contribute to technical committees, trade associations, and industry conferences and publications
• Have a bachelors degree in material science, polymer science, chemistry, life sciences or related field.

Profile

• Relevant experience (sales experience in a business to business environment required)
• Prior professional experience advantageous in one or more of the following: packaging, polymers/plastics, chemicals, paper products, composting, sustainability practices
• Able to work accurately and precisely
• Verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and management professionals from companies spanning from startup ventures to Fortune 500
• Willing to travel up to 15%
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of Normec OWS and client information
• Available June 2023

Work location can be remote in the Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus area with occasional reporting to the laboratory in Kettering, Ohio. Scope of responsibility and compensation will be determined by qualifications.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
