Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Position Summary
The Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist performs vascular/ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.
Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Position Requirements
- Graduate of an Allied health Program (Radiologic technology, Nuclear Medicine or registered Nurse) or a graduate of am accredited ultrasound program and currently registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). And/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). If not registered at time of hire, must be registered within one year of hire date.
- Entry level. Experience from vascular/ultrasound training should be sufficient.
Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
