We are seeking a Temporary Buyer/Planner to join our Anderson-Negele team who will work cross-functionally to help maintain inventory within our Spartanburg, SC location. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. As a Buyer/Planner, you will continuously learn and develop that will help set a career path within Supply Chain.
In this role you will:
- Direct and coordinate activities of raw material buying, planning and inventory control
- Play a part in our customer success by ensuring suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Use The Fortive Materials Systems (FMS) methods to drive for consistent materials and production execution
- Have daily contact with suppliers to support vital goals within the company

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of purchasing and/or supply chain management in a lean manufacturing environment preferably with a Bachelors’ degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, other related fields
- Experience with electronic component sourcing and PCBA (preferred)
- Good oral and written communication are a must
- Strategic purchasing and quality supplier experience is a plus
- Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong technical abilities with computers and the internet
