Territory Sales Representative (Southeastern US)
MLC CAD Systems is in search of a Territory Sales Representative to be a part of our
CAD (SolidWorks) Sales team in the Southeast Region.
As Territory Sales Representative, your main objective is to be a natural relationship builder with a consultative methodology of understanding customer’s needs and position solutions that expand utilization of the SolidWorks technology suite (3D design software, analysis software, and data management software) and professional services to guide customers to their ideal outcomes.
This includes developing an engagement cadence to energize account partnerships, identifying new customer opportunities, developing new sales to existing customers, and positioning product training/implementation services to meet company objectives.
LOCATION: The position is based out of the Atlanta (Lawrenceville) GA office, or in proximity of certain metro markets we serve within the Southeast region.
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years technology sales experience preferred. Customer engagements with Department of Defense, University Research Institutes, Managed Professional Services, and SaaS sales experience is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define our customer’s business level outcomes and develop a solutions roadmap that delivers exceptional customer experiences.
- Position value of MLC CAD Systems products, professional services, and training.
- Land New Logos, facilitate upsells, and prevent churn.
- Take ownership of territory – customer’s realizing their outcomes and achieving your goals are the primary success metrics and leading indicators of a healthy territory.
- Manage & expand sales pipeline with qualified leads across various account segmentations.
- Collaborate with our Strategic Sales Reps and Customer Success Managers in the Southeast Region.
The following are the specific skills and qualifications required for any Territory Sales Representative to be successful:
- Proven work experience as a Territory Sales Representative, Sales Representative, Sales Consultant, or a Customer Success role.
- Being an Ideal Team Player – Humble, Hungry, & Smart.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with a team and manage important deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus (Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or related field).
