Are you a licensed therapist or resident in counseling wanting to explore private practice? Rocktown Counseling is seeking several new contractors to provide services to the community. At Rocktown Counseling you are hired as an independent contractor, in charge of your own case load, scheduling, and with the freedom to make choices about who you see and how you work. Rocktown covers overhead costs, including building rental, electronic health records, and credentialing with insurance panels, takes care of insurance billing and claims, and provides a company identity for networking and outreach purposes. Additionally, for Residents Rocktown offers paid supervision and resources for a competent and informed Residency experience.

Contractors are encouraged to maintain sustainable case loads, prioritize their wellbeing, and work within a schedule that allows work-life balance, as well as explore new ways of practicing, including groups, workshops, and building relationships with other community providers.

Compensation is a percentage of insurance reimbursement and self-pay rates, competitive with local outpatient and private practice models.

Competitive applicants will be self-motivated, have developed counseling theory and identity, be able to set and achieve personal goals, and be strong communicators.

Offices are located in Harrisonburg, VA

Pay: $48.00 - $80.00 per hour
