Thank you for viewing my post! We sell used shoes and clothing online and I am looking for 2 people to be at the 2 different pay by the pound thrift stores every day monday through friday to pick through shoes primarily and clothing and hats secondarily. The job is simple. You go to the one thrift store for 5-8 hours each day from around 9am to 3pm and pick out all of the good shoes, clothing and hats. I will train you and provide everything you need. You will need a vehicle to drive to the store and drop the shoes off at the warehouse in new brighton. One store is in Brooklyn Park, and one store is in St Paul.

This is a 1099 Contractor position where you are paid daily. 1099 positions are actually for the benefit of both the employee and employer as the employee can deduct mileage and phone usage from their taxes to save money on their tax burden compared to a W2 worker, and hold on to more of your money up front. The business pays for all the shoes and clothes. You just get paid for your time and go home after. Stress free. Fun job where you get to thrift all day!

Pay starts at $13 an hour during training and continues to quickly rise to $17 an hour or more ($20 an hour or more) if you are able to work quickly and get the company a lot of quality goods!

I hope to hire people who are able to move quickly, carry 50 lb garbage bags of stuff easily enough, and have a good eye for detail. Preferably people who thrift a lot as a hobby or are good at sorting through junk!
