Stanislaus Towing Services at 1307 Angie Avenue in Modesto, CA has immediate full-time openings for light-duty tow operators to join our family. Responsibilities

*Willing to work any shift or complete any assignment as dispatched. *Operate tow truck in a safe manner while providing towing and recovery services to law enforcement, patrolling for the Freeway Service Patrol or responding to requests for services from the public. *Adhere to California laws and regulations concerning the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle. *Prepare and maintain required paperwork. *Perform light maintenance and regular inspection of truck and equipment. *Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. *Participate as a team in maintaining the company's reputation and standards. *Handle incoming calls during non-business hours. Teams alternate coverage for nights and weekends. *Cross-train in all aspects of the company's towing operations.

Qualifications

*Minimum one (1) year experience operating a light duty wrecker or flatbed with a valid Class C license. (Willing to train if can demonstrate a history of reliability and commitment.) *Clean DMV record *No misdemeanor criminal convictions within the last five years and no felony convictions within the last ten years. *Willing to pass a background and drug test. *Reside within 15 to 20 minutes drive-time of the Modesto area for inclusion in all company operations. (May consider residents of Manteca/Ripon/Tracy area for FSP only - limitations apply.)

Compensation

*$15/hr to $18/hr to start for hourly, depending on experience and current certifications. (We would expect a minimum 6-month commitment if full training required.) *35% commission on dispatched light-duty calls.
