Location:

This position is eligible for fully remote working within the United States. Hybrid working from our office in Bothell, WA is also available.


Scheduling:

This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position.


Overview:

The Training Specialist will work with the Sales Training Manager to deliver new hire onboarding and continuing education development programs for the Reservations Sales Teams. This role supports the training needs for the inside sales teams represented by Europe Express or YMT Vacations and Go-today.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Assist the Sales Training Manager with crafting training schedules/ education courses for new hires, supervise and build reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
  • Capture and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
  • Advise employees on scheduled training and supervise their progress.
  • Recommend training materials and methods.
  • Maintain in-house training calendar, send invites to all attendees in advance.
  • Evaluates program efficiency through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Review recorded calls for quality scoring to sales framework and provide to Sales Management.
  • Research and maintain current knowledge of all product offerings.
  • Work with product team to build content training for new services prior to launching.
  • Assist Sales Managers with continuing education creation based on development needs of the team.
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous training experience in travel industry with a focus on sales performance preferred
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple different learning styles effectively
  • Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred)
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work hour aligned with Pacific Time Zone
  • Previous experience delivering training in a virtual environment
  • Collaborative nature with the ability to interact with a variety of staff from all teams
