The person in this position is responsible for all facets of arranging and coordinating a seamless arrival and departure experience for hotel guests. Primary focus in capturing travel information and coordinating arrival/departure shuttles with the hotels third party transportation partner(s). Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to timely phone and email guest communications, collaborating with various hotel departments, face to face guest interaction, refining transportation processes and procedures. This role may occasionally assist in operating a high volume switchboard which manages the resorts internal and external calls.
The Transportation Coordinator will provide direction, coordinating with managers and colleagues, to ensure customer’s expectations are met. In addition to primary duties, this role manages the flow of luggage pulls and assists bell team as necessary. Finally, the individual in this position may perform various other administrative duties.
Qualifications
This position is responsible for a high volume switchboard which manages the resorts internal and external inbound calls. In addition to the phone duties, the individual(s) in this role coordinate the transportation for all arriving and departing guests with our third party transportation partner. Finally, the individual(s) in this position will prepare welcome amenities, and perform various other administrative duties.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training preferred but not required
- Customer service experience required
- Evening time availability is a must (2pm-10pm)
- Computer experience required – Excel experience and data entry highly recommended
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
