SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated UI/UX Developer to join our Information Technology Transformation to Cloud Enterprise (IT2CE) team. As the UI/UX Developer, you will serve as the Content Manager, responsible for managing and creating a range of content that is accessible to a wide variety of users. You will also work closely with project teams, editors, developers, and designers to coordinate the site content, and ensure it caters to the needs of the target audience.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Collecting and evaluating user requirements
• Using programming code to create interactive programs that enhance a user’s experience
• Conducting the testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience
• Developing overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business website or product
• Ensuring UX principles and best practices are understood and implemented
• Assisting to ensure a consistent look and feel across applications
• Collaborating with backend developers and programmers to improve usability

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphics Design, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience creating and implementing UI development
• 5+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
• Demonstrated experience creating code based on the Sponsor’s personalized needs and requirements

• Proficient with visual design program such as Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Desired:

• Experience working in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
