NCS is looking for a reliable, self motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team! This person will have the responsibility to receive, store and distribute material and freight. Ensure smooth and consistent operation of the warehouse to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate warehouse equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in the loading and unloading of materials; ensure materials are counted and inspected; ensure receiving reports are accurate.
• Aid in resolving invoice, packing slip and receiver report discrepancies.
• Submit paperwork to the accounting department in a timely manner.
• Participate in the staging of materials.
• Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Rotate inventories within the warehouse.
• Participate in the distribution of materials to the appropriate job or personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Aid in dispatching the delivery driver.
• Follow all Company guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Company Mission Statement, Vision and Values.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform all functions of the position and other duties that may be assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

1+ years of related experience

Forklift experience preferred

• 8 hour shift
