Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible to receive shipments and restock orders, keep track of inventory, replenishes parts used by the Field Service Techs daily and maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space. The ideal candidate would have prior warehouse and forklift experience in a basic shop operation.
Primary Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

• Receives factory deliveries of company products.
• Organizes and restocks the products in the warehouse.
• Pulls parts and fills orders
• Takes inventory of all supplies, place stock order and reorders materials as necessary.
• Replenish technician vans with parts and various products
• Responsible for delivering parts to customers and technicians
• Verifies pricing with vendors
• Communicates with customers to inform the status of their orders and when order is available for pick-up
• Schedules pick up and deliveries with freight companies
• Inspects all goods being shipped and received, reporting any defective or damaged items.
• Communicates with the service department of orders received for service technicians
• Responsible for following company safety rules as well as maintaining job site safety.
• Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Physical Job Demands:

• Physical activity of stooping, squatting, sitting, bending and standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Temperatures in the warehouse are variable, with dramatic increases or decreases in response to the seasons.

*Requirements (include, but not limited to):*

• Minimum 2 years warehouse experience; parts experience preferred
• Good driving record
• Forklift experience
• MS Office experience- Intermediate; prefer MS Navision exp.
• Must be able to read, write and converse in English
• Understand and carry out both written and oral instructions
• Follow safety rules and safe operating procedures on a forklift
• Positive attitude with great attendance record
• Team player and a willingness to learn
• Required to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures on forklift to insure proper techniques, such as lifting are performed in the manner as which is described.
