A Warehouse Associate is responsible for various functions including, but not limited to:

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages
• Maintain the company stock through organizing, cleaning and recording items on a regular basis
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items
• Keep files of shipped and received items by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Trouble shoots shipping issues; arrival times delayed, shipping cost discrepancies
• Taking verbal and written instructions from company managers
• Cleaning assigned work areas
• Ordering and maintain cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

• S. Diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and parts orders
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Perform daily/monthly inspections on all lift trucks and cranes
• Remain in constant communication with managers and dispatch
• General knowledge of building maintenance
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Must be able to lift 50lbs of weight on occasion
• Must operate equipment and preform job duties with safety rules in mind be willing to abide by them
• Must be able to operate a vehicle in inclement weather
• Must be able to understand and complete written paperwork
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and follow instructions
• Must be able to perform light manual labor duties
• Good working knowledge of Cuyahoga County would be helpful
• Must have strong organizational skills in order to handle the variety of tasks assigned and to be able to prioritize
• Must be able to keep accurate paperwork in order to track inventory
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with co-workers and supervisors
• Position functions in the shop office as well as the field in all types of weather conditions
• Overtime may be necessary during peak times
