Looking for a reliable janitor who is also handy and can perform other light labor tasks for our growing toy manufacturing business! Kawaii Slime Company specializes in the manufacture of children's slime and sensory toys. We are looking to expand our team with the right individual who can be an asset to our team of already happy employees!

LOOKING TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:

Part Time 30 Hours
Monday - Friday
9 am - 3 pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be a cleaning extraordinaire! Our ideal candidate loves to see a clean workplace and takes pride in their cleaning abilities. We need a person with a high level of attention to detail when cleaning and sanitizing the warehouse.
• Can't be afraid of heights! Must be able to use safety stairs & ladder to restock or remove goods on top of pallet racks using appropriate workplace safety standards.
• Must be handy! Are you a jack of all trades? Can you assemble things with ease? A person who can put together simple furniture, hang items and can use simple tools to assemble, fix or repair items is crucial for us.
• Must be efficient! Our ideal candidate can self manage himself day to day and keep himself busy. Can you manage your time at work efficiently to accomplish the most amount of tasks within your work day?
• Must be organized! A person who likes to keep an orderly warehouse and will help facilitate the restocking of goods to their appropriate place.
• Must be reliable! Do you show up to work each day? We need a reliable and consistent person to add to our growing team.

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:

• Overall warehouse cleaning on an "as need - rotating basis" - mop floors, clean windows, dust common/office areas, sweep, clean restrooms, kitchen and break room.
• Daily breaking down of cardboard boxes and trash removal in entire warehouse.
• Daily washing and sanitizing our manufacturing mixers, bowls and other components inside a 3 part commercial sink.
• Restocking of inventory on top of pallet racks, moving product around the warehouse as needed
• May be expected to make basic repairs on a as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year previous experience in a janitorial position, and/or maintenance position.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Can operate pallet jack, safety stairs, dolly, and other warehouse equipment

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Able to work in different temperatures for sustained periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
