Jackson Newell Paper Co, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in Meridian. Our Warehouse is hiring a talented Warehouse Porter! The Porter will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse appearance according to OSHA guidelines and Imperial Dade's standards all while having a pleasant and team-oriented attitude. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm and reports to the day shift warehouse manager.

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Porter include:

• Clean floors walls guardrails and other surfaces in the warehouse and office areas
• Maintain the warehouse and offices in a neat and orderly fashion
• Able to work in a team environment
• Operate forklift equipment to stack pallets
• Operate the trash compactor, floor scrubber and cardboard bailer.
• Other duties as requested by management

The qualifications of the Warehouse Porter include:

• Must have experience as a Porter in a warehouse environment
• Must have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Must have a flexible working schedule
• Positive attitude & outgoing personality
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask
• Successfully complete the pre-hire process
