Position Summary
The Service Technician performs site visits to ensure proper installation of Jensen Precast - Water Resources equipment/components and assists the customer in the correction of any issues found during inspection. This role also assists at the Water Resources warehouse and tests stormwater treatment products.
Principle Accountabilities
Troubleshoots electrical control systems and mechanical pumping systems. Performs inspection, maintenance, and repair of pump stations.
- Performs installation and maintenance services. Verifies proper installation and operation of the system and develops corrective action plans for customers as needed. Provides training to jobsite personnel and owner.
- Assists with the manufacturing of product components. Moves and assembles product utilizing heavy equipment including cranes and forklifts.
- Receives, offloads and inspects inbound shipments. Assembles and packages items for outbound shipping.
- Assists customers with warranty calls and coordinates with the Customer Service Manager to resolve customer concerns
Position Requirements
- Construction/Electrical Experience: Between 6 months and 1 year, required
- Installation of pump equipment, required
- Familiarity with electrical control systems, Energized Electrical Work Permits and mechanical pumping systems, required
- Driver's License, required
- Use and knowledge of various PLC products, preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction and General Industry, preferred but required once hired
- Certifications for confined space, preferred
- Forklift Driving Certification, preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
