USC Credit Union seeks an Web and Digital Marketing Strategist responsible for the overall website experience and digital automation platform. This candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, channels, and strategies. This role will lead the website and online strategies supporting business goals and emerging capabilities by developing internal metrics, KPI, and other goal measurements. As a member of the marketing department, they will partner closely with IT to ensure digital interfaces and platforms deliver a seamless consumer experience. As the USC Credit Union's lead web and digital marketing technologist, the role will heavily optimize the website and its online presence and maximize its digital health. The Marketing Strategist should have significant experience utilizing digital applications and web-based software for content management, SEO, and analytics. Knowledge of the principles, practices, concepts, methodology, and marketing techniques is required, including demonstrated verbal, written communication, and creative skills.

Responsibilities:
- Optimizes the user experience for all end-to-end digital journeys to include website, online and mobile banking, digital/e-communication, and lead generation workflows.
- Oversees long-term online initiatives to increase product conversion and member acquisition and retention.
- Supervises the accuracy and day-to-day maintenance of website content, including ADA compliance, product rate changes, product and service disclosures, frequently asked questions, product and service descriptions, etc.
- Expected to work on architecting and deploying new front-end features, enhancements, optimizations, APIs, backend scripting, and creating documentation such as design docs, workflows, and user guides.
- Manages HTML development, design, and layout of website materials, including video integrations and continuous integration deployments of code between development, staging, and production environments.
- Works with internal resources to obtain audience targeting, list criteria, and data compilations.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for online implementation strategies for optimization; develops strategic solutions to grow online marketing engagement; understands KPIs and standard digital reporting metrics to optimize campaign efficacy and budget ROI.
- Ensures the tone and communication of Marketing and Advertising align with USC Credit Union's branding standards.
- Actively participates in planning, designing, programming, testing, documentation, and supporting the online and mobile banking and core platforms.
- Plays an integral role in orchestrating the data exchange for several interfaces.
- Anticipates issues and risks at the module level and escalates appropriately. Troubleshoots existing and new bugs as needed.
- Assesses and analyzes developing digital products in the marketplace for possible organizational adoption to accomplish communication objectives.
- Administers third-party products (channels and software); owns department's adoption roadmap and informs the team of changes that could impact processes.
- Researches trends and nurtures new distribution channels online for USCCU's growing audiences.
- Drives measurable outcomes and advises team members about best digital marketing practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in developing engaging, responsive websites is required.
- Advanced working knowledge of Content Management Systems, WordPress, and HubSpot required.
- Extensive experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Github, and relevant web standards
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Deep understanding of paid media ecosystem, including PPC, SEO, and Google Analytics; audience targeting; and platform campaign optimization.
- Analyze data to advise online strategy member experience and optimize conversion and lead generation.
- Experience with any of the following is welcomed: WCAG accessibility, responsive design techniques, SCSS/SASS, jQuery, Foundation, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, etc.)
- Knowledge of usability principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within necessary constraints and budgets.
- Due to project deadlines and implementation schedules, evening and weekend work may be required.
- Strong analytical, project management, verbal and written communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with 3rd Party agencies/partners.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, concepts, methodology, and techniques of marketing
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree, preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in digital marketing, digital product management, or website-related fields, experience working in higher education or similar large non-profit organization a bonus.
