Our company is growing and we are adding more drivers to our team. We are looking for those with excellent driving skills and who enjoy working with the elderly population. Driver will need to assist clients to various appointments in the Kent county and surrounding areas. Your day to day schedule would change based on rides planned for the day. Flexibility is a must for start and end times. Driver would pick up a single passenger at a time in a company van, secure them into the van and take them to their appointment. Basic computer skills required to use a mobile computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs along with some bending and reaching to secure the wheelchair in the van. Time management skills are important as well as ability to problem solve in unique situations. You must have a clean driving record and licensed in the state of Michigan. Some medical background and knowledge is a plus. We are looking for trustworthy, cheerful and energetic people to help grow our business!

What will you do?

• Aid passengers as needed in van and at appointments
• Provide door through door escort
• Verify passengers are properly secured
• Regulate heating and cooling systems for passenger comfort
• Maintain vehicle interior in a clean and orderly condition
• Committed to providing a friendly and safe ride
• Follow emergency procedures and HIPAA guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
