Position

JOB PURPOSE:

The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Wholesale Corporate Trainee will assist the Wholesale team in all areas including reporting, sample management, and wholesale client relations. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present plans to Executive Leadership Team. The role will be offered an hourly rate of $20/hr, plus eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefit plan.


TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compile weekly wholesale selling reports
  • Generate key-style selling reports
  • Create Best&Zero selling reports
  • Issue RTV (returns) authorization forms and maintain RTV log
  • Sample trafficking
  • Create all-category lookbooks for every collection for all accounts
  • Assist in the development of training material for the sales teams at our boutiques for all wholesale accounts
  • Review final orders and check order confirmations
  • Track shipments
  • Assist in trunk show planning, logistics, and preparation
  • Manage supply orders for all accounts
  • Create competitive analysis reports
  • Assist during and after market week by creating assortment snapshots for all accounts
  • Facilitate communications between wholesale clients and the After Sales dept. to coordinate merchandise repairs
  • Communicate with vendors for re-order and order management
  • Enter orders during market
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Full-time, 6 Month Program
  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
  • Flexibility to work weekends during market
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-through practices
  • Superior analytical capabilities
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of all other Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word & Outlook)
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
