Spend your summer making a difference in the life of Arizona Youth! Become an AmeriCorps National Service member.
Overview of Position:
Support the mission of the Arizona 4-H Youth Development program by providing assistance in developing, marketing, and presenting 4-H curriculum and STEM programming to youth in grades 2-5 in Pinal county.
Serve 300 hours part-time over 10 weeks from late May to end of July
PROGRAM BENEFITS:
- $3,600 Annual Living Allowance - divided up evenly over term of service $720 every 2 weeks
- Segal Education Award upon successful completion - $1,374 Education Award. This can be used for educational needs or to pay student loans.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to engage youth in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking, effective writing, and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Should be available some evenings and weekends.
