Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for an A1 who will operate BMG’s Behringer X32 16-bus digital audio console remotely for live and live-to-tape broadcast. The A1 will need to have strong skills in live audio mixing and handling a 10 plus IFB’s and troubleshooting remote on camera talent, as well as in studio talent.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Remotely operate the studio’s Behringer 32 audio board and maintain appropriate audio levels
- Remote Mixing audio for live broadcasts
- Mic all talent and test audio levels prior to each production
- Remote trouble shoots remote host and guest
- Test and QC audio levels for pre-produced video content prior to live broadcasts
- Actively research the best practices and latest innovations in remote audio control and missing
- Setting up RTS panels and Unity intercom for each show assigned
