Bindery Machine Operator - Orlando, Fl

Cathedral Corporation, a 100-year-old company, provider of outsourced data management, electronic presentment, imaging and mailing services, is searching for an experienced Ancillary Machine Operator in our Orlando, FL facility or are willing to train the right individual.

The Bindery Machine Operator sets up and operates machines to automatically fold, tab, and ink jet print by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Maintain numeric/alpha order throughout the process.

· Inspect both pre- and post-production output to ensure that it is processed according to specifications.

· Load data and adjust image system for ink jetting.

· Start, stop, feed machine.

· Watch continuously for machine malfunction.

· Monitor production, correcting routine problems.

· Make any necessary adjustments to regulate tension of fold rollers according to thickness of paper and size and number of folds specified. Set fold plates to achieve required fold.

· Stack sheets on conveyor belt of automatic feed.

· Adjust machine during production run as required.

· Jog, stack, band, and box folded or tabbed product.

· Transfer finished pieces in order to next stage of mailing process.

· Complete and balance mail operations paperwork.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.

· Maintain consumables inventory.

· Support sorting and hand match areas as needed.

· Flexible and adaptable.

· Team-oriented.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Willing to train the right individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
