Your role
Are you a data scientist who like to learn and practice in Investment Bank? Do you have a strong focus on delivery and passionate about machine learning models and cloud technologies. Do you want to play a key role in transforming our firm into an agile organization, and
- to implement a fully automated machine-based data control workflow within Finance
- be responsible for monitoring the automatic discovered data issues
- be able to analyze unsupervised data patterns and exceptions
- partner with SMEs to investigate data issues with proposed remediation
- leveraging data outputs to challenge and influence effectiveness of upstream controls to further strengthen the front to back control environment
- be a valued partner across Finance stakeholders and Data Management Office
- collaborate and coordinate with other parts of Group Finance, Operations, and Risk Control to resolve issues and drive control initiatives
- provide training across Finance to enhance knowledge in AI technology
- drive and steer innovation project
Your team
You will be working in the Americas Product Control team in New York or Weehawken, and work in partnership with teams across the Banks in different Regions.

Your expertise
- degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial service industry
- good knowledge of Data Analytics, Financial markets and products
- ability to analyze large datasets
- an analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- understanding of agile delivery model
- self-starter, ability to work in a fast -paced environment and deliver solid action-oriented results under tight deadline.
- strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate assumptions, method, and results to peer and management.
- track record of success in delivering high quality performance in a dynamic workplace

Salary information
CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $125,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
