Primary Functions

Responsible for design of electrical panels and schematics to meet customer requirements. Provide panel jobs quotes and estimates. Act as project management on panel jobs. Assist with customer technical support. Post-sales support on core products.

Essential Responsibilities

• For Design Build or Build to Print Projects, provide estimates for labor, shop materials and design time for proposals to customers.
• “Go To” Technical Person for Panel Technicians with questions regarding drawings, procedures, components, etc. Including “In Process” guidance and quality checks of Shop Technicians with detailed follow through and closure.
• Detailed design activities on receipt of customer order for a Panel Job, including review of sales generated BOM’s and making of necessary corrections, additions/deletions, etc. Complete mechanical and electrical designs drawn in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Drawing review from other Panel Design Engineers
• Customer post-sales support including startups

Necessary Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
• 5 years of Design Experience
• Minimum 2 Year Technical Degree, 4 Year Degree a Plus
• Knowledge of Tools and Fixturing Required for Control Panel Fabrication and Wiring
• Knowledge of UL 508A a plus.
