$19 per hour

Primary schedule Monday through Friday with flexibility to cover evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

The Heritage at Brentwood is looking for full-time hospitality-focused Environmental Services Supervisor to assist in supervising the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department that includes housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial services for senior residents in our independent living community, skilled nursing facility, and assisted living facility. We pay a fair wage in a better working environment than you will find with hotels and cleaning services. Job Responsibilities

· Works cooperatively with the Director of Environmental Services to maintain excellent relations with the senior residents

· Works cooperatively with the Director of Environmental Services to schedule residential home cleanings and special projects, to coordinate functions with other departments, and to monitor work orders for department services

· Assists in supervising, training, evaluating, and counseling department team members

· Assists the Director of Environmental Services in other administrative duties, such as bi-weekly payroll

· Conducts regular inventory of all department supplies and submits monthly orders

· May perform housekeeping, laundry and/or janitorial duties as necessary

Qualifications

· HS diploma or GED

· At least 2 years’ experience in environmental services required, with training in housekeeping, janitorial services, environmental services, or other institutional management preferred

· Prior supervisory experience in housekeeping or environmental services within a retirement community, hotel or healthcare setting required

· Knowledge of environmental services and infection control procedures required

· Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or approved exemption required
