Summary

The Front Desk Assistant is responsible for the assisting the director and teachers with daily tasks to ensure the center is running smoothly and efficiently. This person will be responsible to cover in classrooms on an as needed basis. This person will also have experience working in a childcare setting and with children. The right candidate must be able to work with people, be flexible, patient and a team player.

The center hours are currently 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday and this position is located at our Exeter location and currently we have 1 full time position with the hours of 11:00 am - 5:30 pm

Duties

• Perform duties such as filing, answering phones and welcoming families when they drop off or pick up children.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy center environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Possible classroom coverage when needed to fill in for lunch breaks.
• Any other task asked of by the directors.

Requirements

• Preferred Experience working with Children
• Experience with Word and Excel
• Background Check
