• Work closely with a team to develop software in an agile fashion

Job Description

This position is for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with front end expertise to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hand-on development for web health applications using JavaScript and CSS. The successful candidate will participate in the full system life cycle including analysis, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and operations. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support engineering and development delivery, technical deliverables/artifacts (architecture, installation instructions), and release activities (running fortify scans, building in Jenkins)
• Help to establish technical standards, approaches and architectures across the project
• Identify and mitigate technical risks to the project
• Ensuring execution of quality technical deliverables within established schedules

Qualifications

• Familiar with Agile incremental delivery approach which supports incremental development of high-quality, fully tested application component delivery every 2 weeks
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and domain-driven development principles
• Experience in developing Rest Services
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Frontend, UI – Javascript/HTML5, Angular, Backbone, Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS
• Backend, Services – Java, NodeJS, Javax, Jersey, Jackson, Jetty, Tomcat
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter that can work under general direction
• Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
