About the job
As a UI/UX Design Intern at Good Morning Games, you will be a member of our lean team and have the opportunity to work on In-Game UI Designs for Knight Crawlers. You will design user interfaces, encompassing in-game UIs, interactive menus, and game flow. You will also work on refining the user experience throughout the game, ensuring that players have a smooth and fun experience playing Knight Crawlers!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design of new UI features, building intuitive interfaces with aesthetic appeal.
- Develop wireframes, user-flow diagrams, prototypes and concepts for team discussion and testing purposes
- Script UI interactions and prototype new experiences
- Create high-quality designs that meet the standard and visual expectations.
- Participate in playtests and provide feedback
Requirements
- A strong understanding of UI/UX fundamentals
- Familiarity with Unity3D
- Familiarity with UI Prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc)
- Familiarity with 2D tools like Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Intuitive understanding of the UI and UX of similar action games work and why they work.
- Previous experience working on a video game UI/UX design is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
