The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead manages systems, processes, and procedures as it relates to cyber and physical access throughout the user lifecycle for all end-users. The Lead also ensures all access is appropriately approved and warranted while ensuring the IAM team is performing timely user set-up, modification, and removal that follows adopted timelines and regulatory compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs IAM team oversight to help adhere to key performance metrics and adjust team priorities as needed to help ensure Avista Operations.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that govern the access to sensitive data and applications within Avista’s networks.
  • Responsible for collaborating with various business units to establish role-based access models, processes, and procedures for maintaining role-based access across enterprise applications and systems
  • Monitor, automate, and refine processes for adding, moving, and changing user access rights in cyber and physical security systems
  • Provide oversite of audit ability of user access processes and approvals in support of regulatory requirements using access reviews of access rights and data ownership
  • Generates reports and performs work under the direction of others
  • Provides training, support, coaching and work direction to: IAM analysts. May also provide training and support to end-users to help them understand the importance of access management and how to comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Investigating identity security events: The IAM Lead work closely with other members of the Threat Hunting team to analyze security threats and determine the appropriate response.
Minimum Requirements
  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics / related field and 6+ years of related experience in security, identity and access, network management, application development, systems administration, information analysis, database management or operations.
  • Experience working with and administering Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Provide support for team members that have a 24/7/365 on call rotation
Desired Requirements
  • 8+ years of related experience in security, identity and access, network management, application development, systems administration, information analysis, database management or operations
  • Experience administering the following:
    • Identity platforms
    • Certificate solutions / PKI
    • Active Directory
    • Physical security systems (Card Key, Access Badge, and Brass Keys)
    • Servers and PC based operating systems
    • Familiarity with SOX, PCI, NERC CIP
Certifications:
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, OSCP, GSEC, GCIH, or other SANS certifications preferred
