The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.
Performs inspection on incoming materials and in process production assemblies and finished devices. Assists the Quality Assurance department on quality related issues and ensures products are built correctly to specification, quality standards and appropriate regulatory compliance. Reports defects and tracks until resolution.

- Perform inspections on printed materials, components, assemblies and other materials supplied by outside vendors. Inspection includes visual, mechanical (using measurement gages such as calipers), and electrical (using light meters, etc.).
- Perform In-process and final inspection on assemblies and finished devices during the production process.
- Complete appropriate paperwork related to inspections such as inspection records, non-conforming material forms, device history records, lot/traveler records, etc. All records must be filed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct cycle counts associated with inventory of the QA/QC area.
- Assist with MRB and non-conforming material inspections and dispositions.
- Assist in the control and maintenance of documents associated with Quality Control activities.
- Assist in special request inspections and rework projects as required.
- Apply approval or rejection labels to raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage non-conforming products and release of conforming finished goods.
- Interact internally to exchange information
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Device related experience in an operations environment.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
- Will work in a manufacturing/warehouse/production areas
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms and talk and hear
- Requires ability to stand for long periods of time; may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to lift and/move up to 25 pounds
- Individual must have correctable 20/20 vision
- Specific vision abilities close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask

Preferred:
- Previous inspection experience
- Experience working with drawing and blueprints to interpret inspection requirements
