Job Summary: Under broad supervision, develops curriculum and presents lessons in subject areas to children or adult clients of a state educational state educational, rehabilitation, health care or correctional facility. Adapts teaching and instructional methods or uses specialized techniquies to individualize instruction. Develops individual instruction plans, provides instruction, completes reports and tutors students.

Primary Duties & Responsibilites: Develops appropriate instructional plans and utilizes appropriate materials. Guides and counsels students with adjustment and/or academic problems, or special academic interests. Maintains necessary reporting sysytems. Observe and evaluates students' work to determine progress and make suggestions for improvement. Performs job responsiblites with minimal supervision. Prepares and delivers progress reports. Prepares daily work plans and laboratory excerices. Provides individual attention and asistance to meet the varied needs and abilities of students. Serves as job expert or organizationresource in assigned areas. Supervises and facilitates students academic progress. Teaches and instructs through lectures, demonstrations and audio/ visual aids.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University OR recognized certification
in the area of vocational assignment. Note: Position may require area specific certifications.

Preferred Qualification: In addition to Entry Qualifications, Prefered Qualifications may be added by the agency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,268.09 - $68,469.15 per year
