Teaching responsibilities include both didactic course work and clinical supervision of students. Responsibilities for this role include clinical practice assignment in the hospital, and skills/simulation lab in addition to face-to-face classroom and/or on-line educational responsibilities.
Minimal requirements for the position include a RN license and a Master of Science in Nursing. All degrees must be from an accredited program. Academic rank is at instructor or assistant professor level based upon academic credentials.
Recent experience in medical-surgical nursing is required. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is preferred.
Research/scholarship activities as well as service responsibilities will be determined in collaboration with Department Chair.
