Inventory Specialist
The inventory specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts for warehouse finished goods, plant raw materials and responding to related inquiries from internal and external customers. This role maintains in-depth NetSuites knowledge of our products and operating procedures and stays in regular contact with Senior Level Management and peers to meet daily goals. This position collaborates with various plant departments on day-to-day issues to ensure that accurate cycle counts are completed at an exceptional pace.
  • Conduct daily RF Smart cycle counts to ensure inventory counts and NetSuites data points are correct.
  • Lead a team of cycle count personal to insure the timely completion of counts.
  • Key member of the physical inventory team ensuring all activities of the physical inventory run smoothly.
  • Investigate discrepancies found during cycle counts and adjust inventory in NetSuites.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in NetSuites and identify areas for improvement related to warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for being the subject matter expert for investigating inventory variance, developing work instructions for investigating, and provide training to identified employees
  • Completes investigation and documentation and performs appropriate transactions of all Non-Conformance Events (MRB) within assigned scope.
  • Monitor RTS(Return to Stock) area and insure product is returned to appropriate locations and transactions are completed in NetSuites.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing or Distribution Center experience in an inventory specialist role is required
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment associated with general warehouse work; to follow oral and written instructions; to communicate effectively; to work and cooperate with others
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in oral and written communication in the English language
  • Must be able to perform basic math (computational) calculations
  • Must be able to work on site, remote working is not an option for this position
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills are preferred
