Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a point of contact between attorney(s) and clients/employees
- Drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence
- Managing attorney(s) calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel
- Managing phone calls and emails for the attorney(s)
- Transcribing dictation
- Proactively anticipating the attorney’s needs and being engaged in their activities
- Following up on any outstanding assignments/projects
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have 2-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Must have knowledge of federal and state court filing requirements
- Must be highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with great interpersonal skills
- Must be computer savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
