Rehmann is seeking a talented Communications Writer to work alongside the Marketing Communications (MarCom) team to assist with content ideation and creation. You’ll make an impact in this role by communicating Rehmann’s brand internally and in the marketplace. You’ll work with the marketing team to create content for articles, the website/intranet, newsletters, social media, video, public relations, and other thought leadership mediums.


How You’ll Make an Impact at Rehmann:

  • Collaborate directly with the Marketing Communications team, the Social Media Marketing Strategist, and the internal/external Strategic Communications Managers to coordinate and integrate content developed for the web, print, marketing initiatives, public relations, and internal firm communications.
  • Write social-media style content and engage readers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and any other social media platforms, as needed, utilizing stories, blogs, videos, podcasts, and slideshows produced for web, print, and mobile.
  • Interview SMEs (subject matter experts) and conduct web research to develop content.
  • Write web copy, as needed, for feature articles, as well as corporate messaging.
  • Assist in drafting content for internal weekly newsletter, intranet articles and announcements, and other strategic internal projects.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Communications Social Media Strategist on a social media content calendar that relates to the comprehensive Marketing Department content calendar and editorial meetings.
  • Keep abreast of social media trends.
  • Fulfill additional writing assignments as needed.


Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences
:

  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of related writing experience with a strong knowledge of client-facing and/or employee-facing communications.
  • Experience formulating questions and conducting interviews.
  • Solid skills in social media writing.
  • Knowledge in developing SEO-focused content.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Deadline-oriented personality.
  • Proficient in AP style and general proofreading.
  • Initiative and ability to work with a variety of projects with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Adobe InDesign experience is a plus, but not required.
