Job description

Material handlers are needed to move items from one location to another, pack products for shipment and maintain records of all items moved. This position requires lifting, sorting, cycle counting, loading and unloading of trucks, picking material, receiving material and put away of material. This position also requires the use of RF scanners. In addition, this position requires the preparation of inbound and outbound paperwork. Must have 6+ months of Reach truck experience and cherry picker experience.

Responsibilities:

• Read shipping order.
• Pick order to determine items to be moved.
• Load and unload product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids or lifting devices.
• Sort and place material on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Mark material with identifying information.
• Lift, count and sort items on pallets according to order fill instructions.
• Prepare and record order fill ticket and load sheet.
• Weigh and count items for distribution within plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
