A well-respected non-profit 300-bed San Francisco Bay Area Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager of Critical Care ICU.

This Medical Center is well known throughout the area for their excellent heart center. The Critical Care Center is comprised of 2 units, a 24 bed Critical Care Unit and 16 bed Progressive Care Unit. The Critical Care Nurse Manager will work manage a diverse patient population ranging from trauma, neuro, vascular, medical and surgical patients.

The Nurse Manager of the Intensive Care Units will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. The Nurse Manager of ICU will provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and quality improvement.

The Nurse Manager Critical Care Unit will report to the Nurse Director of Critical Care and Acute Care Services, and will be supported by a team of Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and RN’s, with over 100 total employees. The Heart and Vascular Center exceeds national standards for care during a heart attack, and has excellent quality ratings and patient satisfaction scores.

The Medical Center performed: 5,500 Inpatient Surgeries, 5,000 births, and saw 55,000 Emergency Room Visits.
