POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Onsite/MSG is responsible for working with sale leaders, operations team and target customers to build a pipeline of new onsite and total waste management opportunities as well as leveraging existing contracts to deliver profitable organic growth. Through customer site visits, presentations and proposal development, the Manager will deliver a value-added partnership that leverages all applicable services lines within the Company. The candidates for this position must have a background in Environmental Services. This background could come from sales, customer service, or technical field experience.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pursue profitable growth by targeting new customers by cold calling, presenting, promoting and selling Company services.
- Work with prospects and existing customers on development of a program focused on vendor reduction, cost efficiencies, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and reduced liability.
- Ensure a sales pipeline is developed with forecast opportunities identified as short, medium- and long-term prospects. Sales pipeline should always be up to date with follow-up notes.
- Daily usage of CRM system (salesforce) to include call activity, opportunities, wins and losses.
- Obtain a comprehensive understanding of customers, marketplace and competitor strengths, weaknesses and price points within the defined territory.
- Identify new development opportunities and leads.
- Monitor the satisfaction levels of customers to provide a quality service that exceeds their expectations.
- Manage territory performance and set appropriate plans for the achievement of goals and objectives.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Experience managing multiple and competing stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent communication and self-motivation skills.
- Excellent networking, relationship and negotiating skills.
- High level analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 5 years of experience within solid waste, hazardous waste and environmental and recycling services industries.
