South Davis Community Hospital is offering a paid on the job training program to become a Nurse Assistant. Healthcare is the best field to be in right now. Dependable and rewarding work with paid on the job training. This flexible PT-FT caregiver position will provide support in a variety of functions in a healthcare setting. We offer paid certification opportunities for employees who make this a permanent position. We are looking for people who have a basic working knowledge of being a caregiver or experience in the past as a CNA. Patient Care Assistants will have direct contact with patients and their families as well as perform direct & indirect patient care necessary to support patients within a hospital environment.

PCA Job Responsibilities:

Assists hospital patients with feeding, toileting, ambulating, dressing, grooming, bathing and other assisted daily living tasks as assigned.

Attends shift repot meetings, charts, documents and reports information related to patient care(s).

Performs floor specific tasks and additional duties as needed which may include cleaning, sterilizing, stocking and maintaining patient supplies.

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse.

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
