Windsor Run is an Erickson Senior Living-managed continuing care retirement community located on a 60-acre campus in Matthews, NC. We are currently searching for a physician to practice, in a contractor capacity, at our on-site medical center.
This opportunity will offer the ability to follow the care of our residents for various levels of care, all in one location.

In summary, Contractors will enjoy:
- Flexible schedule available
- Full malpractice coverage
- Provider will be fully credentialed by us (Erickson Health Medical Group)
- Provider will bill using our EMR system, E Clinical Works (eCW), the scope of services provided to Windsor Run residents would remain entirely separate from any provider's existing work operations/billing
- Reimbursement – we will pay a % of billing, provider is paid every 2 weeks directly and considered 1099 for tax purpose
- Stipend for training
- Care Team approach - fully dedicated team of clinicians on-site for collaboration of care
- Contractor will enter into a Professional Services Agreement
How you will make an impact:
· Conducts patient assessment, examinations and treats patients in a variety of settings.
· Order diagnostic tests, consultations, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.
· Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnose conditions.
· Attend patients in medical office, nursing home, assisted living or hospital.
· Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs.
· Coordinates care with outside physicians, rehab providers, other facilities, as necessary.
· Participates in activities to promote the growth of the practice.
· Communicates with patients, their families and other providers to ensure high quality care, including discussions on end of life issues.
· Participates in quality assurance, peer review and other administrative activities.
· Documents services provided in medical chart and for billing purposes.
· Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other physicians, nurses, medical assistants, administrative personnel and managers.
· Supervise and direct midlevel providers.
What you will need:
· Requires a medical degree from an accredited program, completion of a primary care residency program, with Board Certification in either Internal Medicine or Family Practice
· Requires a minimum of 3 years of medical practice experience
· Candidates with geriatric fellowship training are preferred
